Meet Dr. Deborah Goddard

Dr. Goddard joined Krauss Dermatology in 2019 bringing expertise in pediatric and adult dermatology, including medical, surgical and cosmetic treatments. Dr. Goddard was voted one of Boston’s Top Doctors by Boston Magazine in 2022 and 2023.

Dr. Goddard is board certified in Dermatology, and subspecialty board certified in Pediatric Dermatology. She completed her residency in Dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco, where she served as Chief Resident. She then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Goddard completed her internship in Pediatrics at the Mass General Hospital for Children. She received her M.D. from Harvard/M.I.T. Health Science and Technology Program and graduated magna cum laude with highest honors from Harvard College with a degree in Biology.

Prior to joining Krauss Dermatology, Dr. Goddard served as an adult and pediatric dermatologist in the MetroWest Boston area between 2014-2019, and in the Northern California Kaiser Permanente San Jose and Santa Clara facilities from 2010 through 2014. She served on faculty at the University of California, San Francisco from 2010 until 2014.

Dr. Goddard is part of the consulting staff at Newton Wellesley Hospital. She lectures and teaches on pediatric and adult dermatology on a local and national level.  She actively contributes to the Society for Pediatric Dermatology, serving on committees, and reviewing articles for Pediatric Dermatology, a peer-reviewed journal.  She has written numerous journal articles, authored posters and given oral presentations at national meetings.

Dr. Goddard is committed to providing excellent dermatological care to patients of all ages, and she is keen on educating her patients as best as possible about their skin conditions.
