Meet Dr. Dylan Waterman

Dr. Waterman is the most recent addition to the Krauss Dermatology team, providing expertise in complex medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Her interests include melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer, acne, psoriasis and cutaneous lupus.  Before joining Krauss Dermatology, Dr. Waterman was an attending physician at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center where she served as director of the Rheumatology-Dermatology Clinic for four years. She strives to provide patient-centered care with an emphasis on catering to each individual’s specific skin-directed needs and goals. Dr. Waterman is part of the consulting staff at Newton Wellesley Hospital.

Dr. Waterman originally hails from Wellesley, Massachusetts and received her B.S. in Biology and her M.D. from Georgetown University. She graduated magna cum laude from these programs, was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and received the Milton Corn award for highest academic performance as a third year medical student. Her love of Washington, DC compelled her to complete her intern year at Georgetown University Hospital prior to returning to her native Massachusetts for dermatology residency at Boston University.

Dr. Waterman is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the New England Dermatologic Society where she served as moderator for the May, 2021 NEDS Clinical Meeting. In addition to clinical medicine, she maintains an interest in medical education and has lectured on the topic of dermatologic manifestations of rheumatologic disease at Beverly Hospital, Winchester Hospital and Lahey Hospital and Medical Center.

Outside of the office Dr. Waterman enjoys traveling, skiing, spinning on her Peloton and spending time with her husband, friends and twin sister.
