How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?

A typical JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC injection takes about 15 to 20 minutes to perform by our board-certified dermatologists. Numbing cream and ice packs help make you comfortable during the procedure. Techniques utilizing both needle and cannula can be utilized to obtain the best results for each patient.

Is There Any Downtime?

After your procedure, your lips might appear a bit bruised and swollen at the injection site. These side effects usually fade within a week after your treatment. Our practice is dedicated to minimizing your downtime, so we are happy to treat bruises with our VBeam vascular laser to fade them in just a day or two.
