Unfortunately, everyone experiences fine lines and wrinkles as they age. So, even if you follow a great skincare routine and protect your skin from the sun, these signs of aging are bound to pop up, sometimes long before you would expect.

Fortunately, there is a way to treat them without surgery. Botox has been around since 2002 and ideal for treating dynamic wrinkles like crow’s feet and frown lines that occur when you make facial expressions. So, how much does Botox cost? Read on to find out.

How Botox Works

During a Botox treatment, one of our dermatologists will inject the neuromodulator into your dynamic wrinkles. They’ll apply ice and pressure to reduce the risk of swelling and bruising. Botox works by blocking the nerve activity that causes your muscles to contract and form wrinkles.

While it can smooth out your dynamic wrinkles, it’s not always an effective treatment if you’re concerned about wrinkles due more to sun damage or lines that have gotten very deep over decades. After a Botox treatment, you can return to work and your daily activities right away.

Botox Consultations Available

Botox Pricing

In our practice, Botox is priced by the number of areas treated. On average, a Botox treatment plan ranges from $475 and up. Of course, the more areas you treat, the more expensive the treatment will be.

During a consultation with one of our dermatologists, you can receive an accurate price and learn more about your customized Botox treatment plan. Remember that Botox is a cosmetic treatment so you’ll have to pay for it out-of-pocket. We do have financing plans to help make it more affordable.

Good Candidates for Botox

If you’re in generally good health and concerned about dynamic wrinkles such as crow’s feet, frown lines, and forehead creases, Botox may make sense for you. You may also benefit from Botox if you experience TMJ pain, headaches or excessive sweating.

In addition, it may be a good choice if you’re younger and would like to prevent wrinkles from forming in the first place. If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding or living with certain neuromuscular conditions, we discourage this treatment.

Dr. Krauss has been my dermatologist for nearly two decades. Her level of knowledge in the most up to date cosmetic procedures is unsurpassed. I would not trust my skin care in the hands of another professional. My three young adults are patients of Dr. Wise and are just as satisfied.
Highly recommend Krauss Dermatology.
