Dr. Norden completed her residency training at the Boston Medical Center/Tufts-New England Medical Center Dermatology Training Program after she completed an internal medicine internship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She received her M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine, where she was named a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Norden also earned an M.B.A. in Health Management through a combined program with Tufts University School of Medicine, Northeastern University College of Business Administration, and Brandeis University Heller School for Social Policy and Management.
Dr. Norden has a long-standing interest in medical student and resident education, a field in which she has received multiple grants and awards. She maintains an academic appointment at the Tufts University School of Medicine where she serves as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology and the Course Director for the medical student curriculum in dermatology. Most recently, Dr. Norden received the 2017 Milton O. and Natalie V. Zucker Clinical Teaching Prize for Innovation in Medical Education based on her long-standing commitment to medical education at Tufts and for her work in developing the Dermatology Curriculum for second-year students. Her course is among the highest rated at Tufts University School of Medicine and Dr. Norden has been asked to train other members of the Tufts faculty based on her experience in the lecture hall. She also enjoys training fellow dermatologists and has presented at the American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting. In recognition of these accomplishments, Dr. Norden was selected as a participant in the American Academy of Dermatology Leadership Forum, a program designed to develop the next generation of dermatology leaders.
