By now, you probably know that Botox® is one of the best treatment options for fading forehead wrinkles and frown lines.

But once you start experiencing the age-reversing powers of Botox®, will you need to keep getting more? Will you be in-and-out of your local Botox® provider’s office, or will your Botox® sessions be spaced out enough to fit into your busy lifestyle?

Whether you’re starting out on your Botox® journey or you want to receive more treatments, let’s answer this important question:

“How often should you get Botox® injections?”

Here’s What a Typical Botox® Schedule Looks Like

First, it’s important to note that the best Botox® schedule is one that’s personalized to you, and you alone.

But if you’re looking for a rough guideline so you can set your expectations, here it is: most Botox® results last on average three to four months, however many patients are very satisfied getting their treatments 6 months apart.  Others who dislike having any movement in the treated area at all, prefer every 4 months.

This schedule can help ensure you maintain your Botox® results without feeling as though you’re constantly living at your local Botox® provider’s office!

Regular Long-Term Botox® Users Take Note

If you’ve had Botox® injections in the past or receive them on a regular basis, your Botox® injection schedule may look a little different.

That’s because Botox® results tend to last longer on frequent long term users, with some patients seeing results six months or even longer.

For this reason, if you consider yourself a long-time Botox® user, you may only need an appointment on a semi-annual basis with consistently great results.
